Supposedly in 1820 Joseph was told all churches were wrong, so why was his family devastated by the words of a local minister when they were told Alvin would burn in hell? In the same source it says Alvin was supposed to go with JS to get the plates, didn't God know Alvin was going to die? Why not request Hyrum or just a generic "brother"?
